Armed with a marketing degree, I entered the advertising world as an account manager in 1992. I loved the industry (still do), but soon learned I could best serve the agency and our clients as a creative producer rather than as a business exec. My colleagues agreed. I was made a copywriter and never looked back. In 1996, I went freelance and since then I’ve worked with dozens of agencies and scores of companies to create compelling content that captivates and sells. These days, I write for a French tech firm from my home in the small sea-side community of Peace Dale, Rhode Island. I’m not offering contract services at the moment.
My wife, a speech pathologist, teaches at the nearby elementary school while our two 20-something sons navigate life in their own unique ways. Once, she and the boys insisted on adopting a dog. I wasn’t keen on the idea. So, naturally, I’m the sole owner of a border collie. I have over 2,000 Hot Wheels in their original packaging, and played in a Beatles tribute band (John).
